What do I really weigh?

Sounds like a stupid question, right?  Well, I don't know about you, but my weight fluctuates up and down about 3 lbs each day.  It also fluctuates from day to day.  Most of the fluctuations is due to water.  When I'm on a diet, it's discouraging to think I gained weight.  So, instead, I figure out my "official" weight for the week by
  • weighing myself once a day.
  • taking the average for the week.
The average for the week is my "official" weight.  I plot the official weight, keep track of my weight loss that way. I'll be adding a tool to plot your weight soon-- after I figure out the best way to do it.

Oh, because I know some of you become compulsive about weighing yourself, I made the form include 21 weight entries instead of 7.  You can weigh yourself morning, midday and evening if you want! Enter your weights and form will calculate:

  • your average morning weight.
  • your average noon weight.
  • your average evening weight.
  • your average weight over all.
You can fill in as many  or as few  cells as appropriate, as long as you enter at least 1 cell. If you didn't weigh yourself every day, or three times a day, leave the word "enter" in that box.  Leave the boxes that say "wait" alone.  When you have finished entering, click "calculate".

I would only fill in the morning -- I don't record my weight morning, noon, and night! Then I click calculate.

You know what? If you know it, you can also enter your percent body fat.  The second form will average that for you!   (If you want to buy a body fat scale, check them out at HealthTrack )
